Abstract

Because water is becoming scarcer around the world, new ways of treating wastewater are now in greater demand than ever. This research studies how incorporating the Internet of Things (IoT) with green ideas can bring benefits to real-time and accurate monitoring and management of wastewater treatment systems. IoT uses sensors, online data platforms, and analytics to improve workflow, consume less power, and ensure firms follow the rules. The research discusses how using new technologies like sensor-enabled reactors, portable treatment facilities, and energy from renewable sources makes wastewater a resource for agriculture, industry, and city use. Real cases and ongoing applications are brought up to explain how smart wastewater reuse offers benefits for the environment and for finances. The paper ends by presenting information on problems, for example, in maintaining user data and handling infrastructure costs, and suggests future approaches to make the service work for more people.
