Abstract

In recent years, the healthcare domain has witnessed a surge in demand for intelligent, accessible, reliable tools that help individuals manage their health efficiently. Healthwise is a personalized medicine recommendation system designed using artificial intelligence to provide accurate health guidance based on user-input symptoms. The primary motivation behind this project is the lack of reliable, quick, and personalized health assessment tools that can suggest appropriate medications, precautions, diets, and workouts without the immediate need for a physical consultation. Many individuals suffer delays in diagnosis and treatment due to inaccessibility, leading to worsened health outcomes. To solve this, we developed a web-based application powered by machine learning and a rich knowledge base of symptoms, diseases, and remedies. Users input their symptoms via a friendly UI, and the system predicts the probable disease and suggests detailed medication, precautions, dietary tips, and suitable workouts. The backend leverages NLP for symptom analysis and disease classification. Our findings show that the system provides relevant and user-understandable recommendations for a wide range of common health issues. This signifies the potential of AI in enhancing preliminary healthcare access and promoting self-awareness among users. The results reinforce that with reliable datasets and proper symptom mapping, AI-driven platforms can be a vital support system in healthcare.
