Methodology

This chapter presents the methodological framework used to structure the review and thematic synthesis of the literature. It details the research questions, the criteria for selecting and classifying the enabling technologies, and the process used for narrowing the literature pool. This approach provides the analytical foundation for the subsequent chapters. This review employs a structured approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesise the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain technologies within 6G-enabled IoT systems. The primary objective of this research is to analyse the challenges, opportunities, and future directions posed by the integration of these technologies. This section outlines the research questions that guided the study, the process for selecting relevant literature, and the rationale behind the specific elements and solutions discussed in the survey.
