Open Research Questions
Abstract
This chapter identifies and discusses the key open research questions emerging from the integration of 6G technologies with IoT, AI, and blockchain systems. It draws from the technological gaps, implementation challenges, and theoretical uncertainties outlined in previous chapters to provide a structured research agenda for scholars and practitioners. Areas of focus include scalability, interoperability, ethical governance, real-time intelligence, and sustainable infrastructure design within smart city ecosystems.
