Abstract

Multimodal imaging-based theragnostics combines diagnostic imaging and therapeutic delivery into one platform, providing substantial progress in individualized treatment. By integrating several imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, PET, fluorescence, and ultrasound, it offers a holistic perspective of disorders at both molecular and tissue levels. Nanoparticles are essential in this method, allowing for focused administration of therapeutic drugs and permitting accurate imaging. This collaboration promotes diagnostic precision, improves treatment effectiveness, and facilitates real-time monitoring of therapy responses. Notwithstanding obstacles, ongoing research in nanoparticle design and multimodal imaging technologies presents significant potential for the future of healthcare.
