Abstract

In the context of modern agriculture, the advent of biotechnology has revolutionized the way crops are cultivated and protected against pests and diseases. Traditional agricultural methods, while significant, are often insufficient to meet the demands of a growing global population and the challenges posed by climate change. This inadequacy has driven the search for innovative solutions to improve crop yields, reduce reliance on chemical pesticides, and ensure food security. Among these solutions, the development of transgenic plants represents a monumental achievement, offering precise and sustainable strategies to combat pests and diseases that threaten agricultural productivity.
