Multi-Input Multi-Output Systems: Control and Optimization
Abstract
Narration on Engineering Discoveries - Control and measurement apparatuses for water flow, hydraulic gravity control, water levels regulation and water distribution, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, steam mechanisms, mining and metallurgy machinery, mills, torsion catapults, gimbals, and other inventions were originated and implemented in Roman Empire, Greece and Ptolemaic Egypt. Inventions are dated back to the fourth and fifth century BC by Archimedes of Syracuse, Ctesibius of Alexandria, Heron of Alexandria, Philo of Byzantium and others. In various applications and broad use, empirical designs, measurements, regulation and analysis of systems governance were applied and pragmatic. Medieval European and Byzantine scientists developed various original concepts, and, discovered various apparatuses.
