Critical examination of benchmark problems for large rotation analysis of laminated shells
Abstract
The paper presents a critical review of benchmark problems for large rotation analysis of laminated shells. Several examples taken from the literature have been re-analysed using the author’s own computer programs based on different levels of the geometrical non-linearity. The comparative analysis allows one to drawn some conclusions on suitability of the considered examples for the use as benchmark problems.
