Abstract

In the aim of modeling the dissipative behavior of a filled silicon rubber we developed in ( Boukamel et al. 2005 ) a statistical and microphysicaly-motivated hyper-visco-plastic model allowing loadings with a wide frequencies range. In particular the dependence of the behavior upon the frequency and amplitude of loading can be well obtained with a short number of material parameters ( Martinez 2005 ). In this communication we propose to present the FE implementation of this model in an object oriented code. A nearly-incompressible formulation with an additive decomposition of the specific free energy into volumetric and deviatoric parts has been chosen. The local integration of this statistical model requires the choice of the discretization for the time, the geometry and the statistical variable. Some examples of applications will be shown and compared to experimental results.
