Abstract

Hydrological modelling was used to verify the hydrological understanding gathered from the field surveys and analyses ( Chapter 4 and 5 ). Continuous hydrological measurements were done at several locations in the catchment with the most important ones, the weir in Bangalala and the V-notches in Vudee for the discharge measurements and the automatic raingauges in and around the Vudee sub-catchment. This chapter first describes the observed discharge and then translates the hydrological understanding into a conceptual hydrological model.
