Conclusions
Abstract
The central aim of this research is to develop and test improved methods and modelling approaches for the analysis and prediction of coastal morphology on spatial scales of kilometres and time scales of several years. This objective has clearly been achieved as the modelling approach and several of the methods developed and validated in the course of the work described here are already in widespread use by engineers and researchers around the world.
