Machine Learning Techniques
Abstract
This chapter presents an overview of the machine learning techniques used in this research. Brief descriptions of machine learning techniques namely artificial neural networks, model trees, instance based learning, and some clustering techniques are given. These learning methods are extensively used in the following chapters in modelling the uncertainty of the rainfall-runoff models.
