Introduction
Abstract
This research has been carried out under the auspices of UNESCO-IHE. UNESCO-IHE is a post-graduate educational and research institute entirely devoted to the aquatic environment. It is concerned with water resources management challenges worldwide, in particular, the challenges faced in less privileged countries. Every year, 200 water professionals from all over the word arrive in Delft, the Netherlands, to study for their MSc degree at UNESCO-IHE.
