Abstract

Is a western medical team able to manage difficulties passing from high to low technological environment? Last June a colleague of mine invited me to join her in working in Bangladesh in the hospital “St. Vincent de Paul&s;s Sick Shelter and Clinic” and deal with children who have malformations of the face. She had been contacted by the international association “Smile Project in the World”.
