System of health technology assessment in the Republic of Kazakhstan as a tool for patient safety

In all countries, the demand for medical services exceeds the available resources needed to finance: the rapid spread of innovative health technologies, defines the appearance of the big problems in setting priorities and allocating resources. Ministry of Health Republic of Kazakhstan, clinicians and hospital managers are faced with choosing between alternative medical technologies and services. Such decisions require careful analysis of existing data and demonstrate the need for a systematic, objective and transparent assessment methodology.
