E-dis: A telerehabilitation model for neurological dyspaghia
Abstract
We present a telerehabilitation model for neurological dysphagia, denominated in the future as “e-dis”. The aim is to improve the traditional rehabilitation practice associated with this disease and the patient&s;s experience. With e-dis a part of the face-to-face traditional therapy can be substituted, so patients don&s;t need to travel to a clinic because it allows experts in dysphagia rehabilitation to engage in a clinical consultation at a distance.
