Abstract

The Local Health Care Service of Florence Azienda Sanitaria di Firenze (ASF) since 2007 is applying a new hospital reorganization model. Hospital processes have been revised and redesigned according to the principles of Lean Thinking , mostly based on patient&s;s perspective.
