Introduction

Through our involvement in teacher training programs, we have come to recognize that an important part of bringing pre-service and in-service teachers to a point where they can effectively integrate information technology into the classroom is to provide them with a variety of good examples. In this spirit, we have collected case studies on successful integration projects for publication in this volume. The case studies being published were selected from a broad sample of case study reports that were submitted after we sent out a call for papers. In that call, we requested reports of successful experiences where teachers had harnessed the power of technology to enrich and enhance teaching and learning experiences in their classrooms.
