Abstract

The rapid progress of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) achieved in the last 10 years is due to two major factors: the utilization of microparticulate silica gel in a range of 3—10 μm as a column packing material, and the use of re-versed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC) using nonpolar stationary phases and aqueous organic mobile phases [ 1 , 2 ].
