Abstract

This article is based on the author’s personal knowledge and experience of rapid application development (RAD) as operated through the dynamic systems development method (DSDM). Although there may be other methodologies used in conjunction with RAD, it is believed that the principles contained within this guidance will be applicable to most RAD-style projects, but may need to be adapted accordingly. This guidance should not be perceived as definitive, but may be used for education and for the formulation of audit workplans for RAD projects.
