Comparison with Thornthwaite-Mather and Other Monthly Models
Abstract
The great advantage of the modelling approach suggested in this dissertation is that it does not combine the evaporation processes interception and transpiration. Except for the evapoclimatonomy model, briefly described in Section 8.2 , other monthly water balance models do not distinguish between the two. Therefore, a comparison with other models is restricted to total evaporation.
