Abstract

In this final chapter, we consider the applications of our treatment-oriented model of neuropsychological assessment to selected cases of children who present with various types of neurological disease, disorder, and dysfunction. In doing so, we felt it would be worthwhile to consider one systematic view of the neuropsychology of neurological disease, namely, the “white matter” model ( Rourke, 1987 , 1988b , 1989 , 1995a).
