Abstract

A morphodynamic numerical model is set-up for “Het Friesche Zeegat”, a tidal inlet in the Wadden Sea along the northern coast of The Netherlands. The model is based on DELMOR, a program package in which the quasi-3D approach is applied to model the flow and the sediment transport. The first results of this study, reported in this paper look encouraging.
