A mid-scale tidal analysis of waters around the north-western corner of the Iberian Peninsula
Abstract
The general features of the tidal circulation around the Galician Coast as simulated With a 3-D barotropic model will be presented. After a brief outline of the theoretical fundamentals of the model, the procedure of setting-up and validation will be summarized altogether with a description of results concerning the spring-neap tidal cycle produced by the coupling of M-2 and S-2 tidal constituents.
