A computational technique dealing with the open boundary condition and its application to tsunami wave propagation analysis
Abstract
A finite element method including open boundary condition for tsunami wave propagation problem is presented. The analysis of Kanto Earthquake Tsunami of 1923 was performed and the numerical results were compared with the finite difference solution. The applicability of the method was confirmed through the computations.
