Abstract

This paper proposes a control technique so called Predictive Control Method and shows its applicability to water-pollution problems. This method is able to control the state values, such as concentration emplying the control value predicted using the inflow concentration in the immediate future. In order to examine the applicability of the this control method, two numerical examples have been considered.
