Abstract

In order to investigate the static behaviour of grouped piles, the influence of batter pile, the resistance of soil and the interaction of pile-soil-pileare studied in the present work. Load-transfer curves described by a means of generalized analysis are used to analyze nonlinear soil behaviour of grouped piles. To formulate a solution for this method, it is assumed that the pile-cap about the head of interconnected piles is considered as a rigid type.fi eight-batter-pile North Sea plateform structure is taken as an example to illustrate the procedure and to testify the solutions. The numerical results for axial force and bending moment are satisfied the equation of static equilibrium.
