Rockburst simulated and predicted by rheological model
Abstract
Numerical simulation of rockburst has been achieved by a rheological model based on the concept of delayed failure. A new failure criterion of strain-dependent type was proposed. Nonlinear finite element analysis of rockburst for a deeply located tunnel was presented.
