Spline function method for dynamic analysis of tall building structures
Abstract
In this paper, a new computationl method for dynamic analysis of tall building structures is presented. This method is called spline subdomain method. It is based on the n-th B-spline function, the variational principle and the discrete principle. This method has great advantages over the finite element method and the finite strip method. It can easily be carried out on a micro-computer. This is the project supported by national natural science foundation of China.
