Free vibration analysis of longitudinal arbitrarily curved box-girder structures by spline finite strip method
Abstract
In terms of the domain transformation concept, the spline finite strip method is extended to solve the free vibration problems of longitudinal arbitrarily-curved box-girder. The method can greatly reduce the computational time when compared with the finite element method. The method will be very useful in practical design especially at the preliminary stage.
