Marginal value of investments in hydro power plants

Hydro power plants which are under construction or are going to be constructed in the future have more and more a multipurpose character. The construction of hydro power plants has, up to now, been financed by Hrvatska elektroprivreda, since these were traditional facilities which generated cheep and clean electricity. However, future construction of hydro power plants would certainly require more financiers of future users. This is why I am trying in this paper to develop a procedure for determining maximum value of investment in hydro power plants which should be provided by Hrvatska elektroprivreda. This procedure will, after theoretical elaboration on mathematical basis, be tested on one concrete hydro power plant in Croatia.
