Research on the economic evaluation of hydro and thermal electric power and the optimal proportion between them in the power system of Guizhou province
Abstract
According to abundant resources of hydropower and coal in Guizhou province, calculation and evaluation for developing hydro and thermal power in the near future is discussed in this paper. The conclusion is that all the economic evaluation indicators of hydropower are higher than those of thermal power;additionally,multipurpose utilization of hydropower is significant. Priority to develop water power is obvious. By using different annual costs of the electric system between hydropower and thermal power, the annual cost curve gives the optimal proportion of hydropower and thermal power in the Guizhou electric system in the year 2000.
