Abstract

Field data collected during 1990 and 1991 are used for the preliminary calibration of a 3-Dimensional numerical model that permits simulations of the hydrodynamics and sediment transport in the Rupert bay. The numerical model includes the effect of wave action on the resuspension of sediments and an empirical formulation of the flocculation phenomena.The wetting and drying scheme is also included.
