DASMOS and its application to Longyangxia Hydropower Project

DASMOS is a new comprehensive, highly user-oriented, general purpose dam-safety and environmental information processing system. It integrates a very convenient and natural man-machine communication interfaces, data generation and correction facilities, data interpretation procedures and tools, interactive dam-safety analysis and assessment techniques, graphics and tabular output and decision-making features into a single system. It is currently being set up at Longyangxia Hydropower Project and is frequently being run to perform synthetic information necessary and throuth multi-approach intuition, statistical and determinate models, as well as calling up and comparing to field-inspection records, helping the operator to follow the behavior of monitored structure, during the initial impounding stage.
