Implementation of an integrated system for short term scheduling in Alta Power Plant
Abstract
A complete system for optimal utilization of available water resources for hydro electric power plants is described. The system is collecting automatically or manually, information from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute ( DNMI ), field measurement stations and the general power control system. These informations give the operator the following decision support:
