Integrated control centres — A new concept for integration of hydro scheduling programs into energy management systems
Abstract
The paper presents an open system solution for the integration of application programs into existing or new concepts of control centre systems. The standards and solutions chosen for establishing the integrated concept are described. Further a brief presentation is given of the application programs for hydro production scheduling and inflow forecasting, that will be available through the integrated control centre concept.
