Abstract

A landslide happened at a fresh cutting for a bypass road at Heroldsberg (Germany). After heavy rainfall, 60.000m 3 soil moved downwards. Slope reinforcement was judged to be the most effective solution for the slope repair. 21.000m 2 RAUGRID-Geogrid was used in the restoration of the embankment. The movement and settlement of the slope will be monitored using inclinometers.
