Effects of the transition zone in a nailed wall model test
Abstract
A series of small-scaled pull-out tests shows that pull-out tests conducted under conditions in which no overall failure is occurring and the active and transition zone are not fully developed may be unsafe for pull-out under ultimate failure conditions.
