Locating of seismic sources in rock masses and the determination of source parameters
Abstract
A mainly automatically working seismic monitoring system in a deep mine is represented. The paper discusses results concerning locating, accuracy in dependence on different influencing parameters, such as accuracy of time-difference measurement, network geometry and wave velocity. Source parameters of blasting events and mining tremors were determined and compared. An online hazard evaluation using the displacement velocity criterion is presented.
