Abstract
CGG put into action a special spread to obtain a 3 dimensional seismic which is patented under the name of WLP. This ‘‘field’’ technique and appropriate processing now allows the lateral events to be distinguished, selective sections to be produced. This facilitates the selection of events and as a result the work of the interpreter.
