Abstract

To obtain the amplitude spectrum of the signal, the AUTOCORRELATION FUNCTION of the trace and signal is taken (1) and the fact that the autocorrelation function of the signal is equal to the power spectrum of the signal used, that is to say the square of its amplitude spectrum (see SPECTRAL ANALYSIS).
