Abstract

(PASSIVE METHOD used only in mineral exploration and in DIRECT PROSPECTING). A diagram illustrates geophysical exploration methods, focusing on gravimetry, electromagnetics, and seismic reflection. The top-part shows a graph with a varying line indicating changes in measurements. The bottom-part depicts two scenarios: one involving water and another involving a table. Arrows indicate the direction of movement or flow, with positive and negative signs representing different charges or measurements. The left scenario shows shaded area with arrows circulating around it, indicating movement in water. The right scenario shows similar shaded area with arrows circulating around it, indicating movement in a table setting. https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href=" https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781003761020/e10523ab-dbe3-4c4f-8f3e-863ae3683950/content/pg313_1.tif "/>
