Abstract
The aeroplane carries the emitter loop (vertical or horizontal) and tows the receiver loop at the end of a cable (vertical). The air currents change the orientation of the receiver loop therefore the recording of the real component is out of the question but recording of the phase is possible (the secondary field with respect to the primary field) because this only depends upon the difference in time where R and E reach their respective maxima and minima.
