Abstract

In the example shown here and relating to a massive sulphide body, it may be noted that there is a good correlation between the contours of the gravity anomaly and the iso-accumulation map of the metal. A set of two diagrams of contour lines representing geophysical exploration methods. The top set of contour lines is more complex with multiple closed loops and varying line densities, indicating the accumulation of metal. The bottom set of contour lines is simpler with fewer closed loops and more evenly spaced lines, indicating a gravimetric anomaly. Each set has a central point marked with a plus sign. https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href=" https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781003761020/e10523ab-dbe3-4c4f-8f3e-863ae3683950/content/pg355_1.tif "/>
