Abstract

See : INTERPRETATION, § A diagram compares structural and lithological seismic perturbations. On the left, labelled Structural Seismic, it shows a series of horizontal layers with a downward arrow indicating perturbations. On the right, labelled Lithological Seismic, it shows similar layers with an upward and downward arrow indicating perturbations. Below each set of layers, there are corresponding seismic wave patterns. The structural seismic waves are more uniform, while the lithological seismic waves show more variation. https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href=" https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781003761020/e10523ab-dbe3-4c4f-8f3e-863ae3683950/content/pg110_1.tif "/>
