Mineral Inventory Database through Computer—An Integral Part of Total Mine Planning System
Abstract
The success of a mining project depends on an adequate estimate of those properties which will allow sound decisions to be made about further exploration and exploitation. This paper deals with an integrated approach to mine planning that can suitably link geology with mining through identification of type of mineral deposit, geostatistical reserve estimation, optimum mine design with a desired level of production, planning, and control.
