Abstract

Operational methods considered earlier are effective for solving a large class of linear problems. However, their direct application to nonlinear problems, as well as certain types of linear problems, is fraught with difficulties. This can occur when it is proposed to take into account the effect of such factors as: temperature and humidity which are functions of time as well as spatial coordinates on the properties of the material, in the case of problems with variable geometry of the body, contact problems with variable regions of contact, and several others.
