Effect of medium porosity on contaminant transport in porous fractured media
Abstract
Using the double porosity continuum model, the leakage effect in porous fractured media has been considered and the related formulae have been formulated in this paper. A parametric study of the effect of porosities in porous blocks and fissured networks on the contaminant transport has been carried out and some interesting conclusions have been obtained.
