Abstract

The first results of a systematic stucV of the motion of one ball or of a two-dimensional layer of balls on a -rough or not- inclined plane is presented. The role of the collisions in the case of one particle motion on a rough surface is analysed. Very well-defined density waves are observed in the case of two-dimensional layer flow.
