Handling of bulk products: Application to flow in a hopper
Abstract
In industry, silos are generally used to regularize the alimentation of raw materials which are involved in different processes of fabrication.To obtain such a flow in a silo, we have to consider not only the silo and specially its hopper geometry, but also the stocked material the behaviour of which may change considerably. The problem is to determine the criteria allowing an efficient evaluation.
